INTOS manufactures in-house modular radiation shielding (partition) lead walls, hinged and sliding lead doors and lead frames. The modular wall systems are a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for shielding X-ray radiation. They can be supplied in various designs and colours. Depending on the model, many of the walls are easy to (dis)assemble, easy to move and expand. The various components can be supplied in virtually any lead thickness.

INTOS has developed a unique construction system for shielding at lead thicknesses of >6 mm. The lead insert is positioned so that installations can be completely concealed in both sides of the wall. Radiation hygiene thereby remains fully intact.
By placing several layers one after the other, all lead thicknesses are possible. An additional advantage of this is that different lead equivalents can be processed side by side without being visible. This method has been widely used for PET CT and radiotherapy departments within healthcare.
Our heavy-duty shielding system is ideally suited for retrofitting. For example, if additional shielding is required due to different use of the room or changes in equipment.
INTOS also designs and supplies radiation-resistant electrically operated sliding doors with drive. These are equipped with all options for safe use and operation.
