Lagardère Travel Retail was looking for a partner who could realise the complete shop fitting in Lounge 1 at Schiphol Airport on a turnkey basis: A premium shopping environment that immediately invites travellers, is logically designed for high passenger flows while withstanding intensive daily use. Important here were tight planning and reliable execution within the operational context of the airport, with an eye on quality, ease of maintenance and a consistent brand experience.

The challenge

An airport shop requires more than just an attractive design. At the same time, the shop must contribute to the total upgrade of Lounge 1, where Schiphol, together with its partners, is committed to a renewed retail and catering experience.
